Krisles,
This is really good. I'm sorry I missed it a couple of months ago. It makes me think of so many ways that emptiness can be interpreted, and so many ways we try to fill it. Good post. Lots to think about. :) You really should post more often. :)

Hi Krisles
You're AWOL, sailor. Turn yourself in.
This blog is covered in cobwebs
Well, I guess I've been away a lot myself lately, so I can't complain. But wherever you are, Krisles, I hope you're doing fine and that you've recovered from that knee surgery. First the shoulder, now the knee? The cure that I recommend is hopping on a bike and going for a 60-kilometre spin on a bumpy road. That'll shake everything back into place and you'll feel like a million bucks again. Either that or so many other things will be hurting, you won't notice either your knee or your shoulder. ..it's taken me 61 years to learn that the only one that can truly
fill me up.... is me... by tuning into and connecting to the spirit that is already there... just some thoughts your post evoked in me... well written post with keen observations!

You're right, I'm sure......maybe it just seems that women talk of it more. I think of men as being afflicted most often with feelings of lonliness....and women, with those of emptiness; I don't know why, just do...... I didn't realized I had those "stereotypes" until your comment. I've been in a shell; had the knee surgery and am recuping.

I wonder this myself......I don't have that feeling personally....just hear it expressed often....or, rather, see it expressed often, in interviews, or in stories of different kinds..... This was just a thought that came to me, and I am still playing with.....

It's hard to say. I don't think it's a woman thing. I think it's a human thing and it goes beyond the other gender. Otherwise, how do we explain the emptiness that men feel?
