it's a great magazine, 8ball, lots of photos, some dating really far back.
it gives scientific explanation for all of earth's natural disasters, has charts, maps, the works.

Good point, thanks for reading. I do change over time too so I can see hurricanes changing with the environment we choose for it. Warmer climates more storms.

Galveston, 1900 Striking at the beginning of the 20th century, the
greatest natural disaster in U.S. history swamped the island city off the texas coast on Sept. 8, killing at least 8,000 people and perhaps many more, double the estimated death toll in the San Francisco earthquake and fire of 1906. A massive storm surge driven by the hurricane's winds did much of the damage. The storm was unusually long-lived; it wreaked havoc on buildings in Houston, then moved north. On Sept. 11, winds in Chicago were reported at 80 m.p.h.
this excerpt was taken from "TIME - Nature's Extremes; inside the great natural disasters that shape life on earth", a magazine available on newsracks everywhere.
dust storms, hurricanes, volcanoes, melting ice, freezing ice, earthquakes, you name it, the planet earth has been pummelled, shaped, killed off and brought back to life more times than we will experience in our own lifetimes. this is how the planet survives.

Yes I know and I was hoping the Oilers could beat that storm. Both teams did deserve it no matter who got the cup. But I wish it was our boys that got to hold Lord Stanley over their heads. It's a sad day but what makes me smile is that Edmonton was the eighth place team and they almost won the whole thing. Hockey has changed for the better I think.

8-Ball...it was a big piece of a comet and it didn't land in the ocean
The way the Frenchman said. It landed in a valley of a rural area. Some farmers saw it. They've got photos but no one's seen them. It's gotta be some sort of conspiracy!
{Oh yeah, I was kidding about Eric jumping from the Eiffel Tower}

That guy (Eric Juilien, a Frenchman,)
Jumped off the Eiffel Tower on May 26th, the day after the supposed comet castrophe...However, last week a comet fragment DID indeed crash into a rural area of Denmark. (I believe) I wrote a post about it.
Doesn't anybody ever read my intriquing shit anymore????

Your right somewhat they are finding ways to control rain and thunder storms by using modern technology. I read some in a old Popular Mechanics magazine in the waiting room. It was neat but didn't get a chance to read it all, the doctor was on time that day.

I care and I know you do but pouring money into the pockets of people who say they can change it is making me go broke. We have to change the way we all live before the world can get back to normal. Me I want another power outage but this time have it last a couple of months. Then we will wake up and change our ways. Nice comment btw.

I know alot about hurricanes as well as panties...LOL--
Though some of the natural disasters we're seeing are indeed a result of our planet's natural cycles, Global Warming has intensified the number and the frequencies of tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. The waters of the world's oceans are increasingly becoming warmer.
The largest ice mass on the earth has melted to the point that it's moving. Penquins and Polar Bears are being threatened by the lack of food. Our planet is in real trouble but not too many people seem to notice or care.
