Me, too, Bel, sometimes the city is too much for me.

I don't much care for crowds
They make me very edgy.

I just have to stay tuned in to my own signals
to realize when I'm overwhelmed and can't cope, and ask myself what I need in that moment:  food, sleep or to get away from too much noise.  It's amazing how much the body responds to stress.  I went to meet a friend for coffee, but there was so much going on and I had remembered that I had missed that deadline, I had to leave.  It was just too much.

Don't worry about, bel. All the goodness she's found with you will last
a lifetime.  A month will fly and when she returns, she'll appreciate you all the more.  She knows she can call if things get tough.  She'll be ok, and so will you.

I think you are right. A short nap made me feel tons better.  As for Pam, I know she misses her mother and by the time the visit is over she will be ready to come home to "quiet" as she describes our home.

Azur
Thank you.  Looking at it, I am not so sure it was good.  But I did stick to my promise to myself to write something everyday.

Bel

Yep, nuthin' like a good put to lift the blues off your back.I often have a nice fit of petulance, in which my full, sensuous, infinitely kissable lips get all stern and scrunchy.

Gotta watch your lips don't get stuck in position tho'

Good for you for getting your writing done

Bel, I think at times of stress, when the pressure's off sometimes it's
easy to run out of steam.  You just had that big court hearing.  Even if it's good news, it's still stress.  Take it easy. You'll get your mojo back.  As for Pam's visit, well, she knows she has you guys to come back to, that's a big thing.

Take the time to feel your feelings, and they will not control you.

Bel, pamper yourself today.  There's always tomorrow, and if there's not, those things you mentioned won't matter anyway.

Since they ARE your poles, maybe we should get some pretty colored paint and make them prettier! LOL!  Do you think hydro would still think they are yours after that?

Thank you.  I think between all that occured last week and getting Pam ready to go, it all just caught up with me today.

You're a good momma and Pam will be missed. Look after yourself, be kind to yourself, change your scenery, grab hubby and run up here and watch my hydro poles with me. lol

When you don't feel like doing anything, nothing is the best thing to do. Words I live by. You're entitled to such a day, as long as they are few and far between, of course.
