We have well water too.
It really sucks when the electric goes out.
Before I started keeping water bottles in the fridge, I used to have fears that I would thirst to death before the electric came back on. LOL

Well, maybe everyone in the cities will get our own generators, Bel,
Actually, if MG could make a living somewhere else, I would so love to move someplace quiet.

They are actually quite easy to operate. Just start it up as you would a lawn mower.

Bel, wow, spoiled city slicker that I am, I wouldn't know what to do with a
generator if it bit me. I did see an ad on the tv last night for a Honda Generator, and I thought, "wow, that's a first". I hope all your meats and perishables are still good. Enjoy the trip Up North.

Bel, I was coloring my hair once and during the waiting time, the water turned off. There I was stuck with that goo on my head and no way to take a shower. I raided the fridge for the cold drinking water to get some of it off and then just had to wrap up my head and wait. It was awful

The well is buried so unfortunately I can't. Luckily the power has been restored so unless it goes out again all should be fine!

That's the problem with dependency on TECHNOLOGY. Can't you draw water from
the well manually?
