My! you are up early! Do you ever sleep?
Sorry don't mean to be so nosy. Anyway I appreciate your comments, I am a Christian or at least try to be but would never boast about it. I feel I am such a hypocrite anyway. I sometimes feel discouraged, because there is always someone to pick on you, there is enough harshness in the world and not enough compassion. That's why I get so angry at times, but then that's not terrible helpful either. I can't stand all the religious goody goody the holier-then-thou and I pray to God that I am not one of them. My dad used to beat me up because I refused to say my prayers, that little ritual and beating went on for what seemed a long time, may be a year, and I won that battle, silly really, I just had to make a point, at the tender age of 8 or ten. Sad really, funny because I took my dad to Church in NZ. All is well, so he did instill something in me, despite himself. With God, nothing is wasted, not even my dad's cruelty, forgiveness melts the hardest stones. I still got a few stones in my own heart, but hey can't be perfect. Not yet, I'll let you know when that happens...

WELL SAID! and there is a lesson there for life!....
Whether you bash or believe the Bible (I believe it), your poem exhudes sound doctrine for dealing with people everywhere in every situation. My Dad, whenever I crossed him andsometimes when I hadn't, would get loud and grab a belt. Needless to say, he didn't make much of an intelligent impression on me. Thank God, I learned early, when my boys (rarely) crossed me, I got much more response and lasting as well, if I quietly explaned with love what the situation was. That didn't mean I might still spank them or otherwise discipline them, but in that environment, the discipline was understood and more readily accepted, rather than rebelled against! Man, I get long winded don't I? lol
