What sad news. It gives new meaning to my poem,
unfortunately. My prayers and thoughts to those remaining and having to cope with such tragedy.

marieclaire, this is so beautiful and yet it made me so sad because it brought to mind what I saw on the news yesterday of five children drowning in the river. They were at a park along the river at a church picnic and got caught in the current. It was so sad. Your poem is like an epitaph for that.

Did I say I was French.... I changed my mind...
On second thoughts, I'd rather be Chinese or even American right now. What a disgrace, that Zidane. Don't blame, luckily Chirac gave him a big kiss and a hug.

I wonder what President Chirac had to say
to the big star about him costing them the World Cup by getting ejected?

Anyway, back to the poem, VERY NICE!
