Quirky, where are you going?  Will  you get back on Blogit once you're settled?  I wish  you all the luck in your travels and hope we hear from you again real soon.

Take care and drive safely.

I have been in a crazy phase too.
In the end I gave away a lot of stuff because time was too precious.

Julia
We're moving to the beach in a week with three boys under 5, four dogs, and a houseload of furniture. I'm thinking of becoming a mr. mom for a little while, until things get settled.

I hope your luck gets better. I can definitely empathize with you, but I can't imagine doing it alone.

Unfortunately, I know your pain all too well...just keep a firm head on your shoulders and don't forget to take a breather each evening.  Moving is stressful, don't get too wound up.  (PS: When you stop, take the cats out, if only for a few minutes, and only one at a time.)

Julia, I hope things settle down for you soon,
I haven't held a moving sale, but can imagine it would be a hassle and emotional   I hope you and the kitties are doing better and getting settled soon.

Now I remember why I hate moving!

***HUGS***

I'm thinking of you.

I figured you were packing up and moving. Sounds like you've had

quite an adventure already.  Keep smiling through the madness... remember, one day you'll look back and laugh.  At the very least, it's a lot to blog about!

As for the cats in carriers.... my cat couldn't go five minutes in the car without REOOOWING (that's a loud meow) and peeing in the carrier.  He hated the car... since he only ever went in it to go to the vet.  Hopefully yours are more used to it!!   If not, get some sleeping pills from the vet.  LOL  (seriously)

Good luck!

I will miss you....ummm maybe it is time to let go of some of that stuff.

Anyway, take care, drive careful.

I've been wondering how you were and why you weren't around Julia....
Wow, now I know! Lol, life is a bit crazed eh? Yes, remember to breathe deeply and relax as much as possible...sending good thoughts your way. Great to see you again - Take care.

Julia
I have traveled with cats before and they generally do just fine.  They sleep most of the time.  Do NOT make yourself crazy, remember to stop and breathe just a little bit from time to time.
