I don't believe that God will let us down those who volunteered we have even more respect for but as 9-11 happened I think every American that went and joined did so to protect are country for terror and more death and destruction I pray they all come home safe

I hope I can justify his trust in me, even as my trust in wavers. I'm still
searching for some answers and understanding, but I really don't have the time to study. I'm working on it! Shalom!

That is actually true, Lonelyroad, and when I wrote this poem, I think
but failed to illustrate, that I meant it was not his choice to be at war. Yes, he did volunteer, although he and his best friend were fed a line of bull by the recruiter (which is a synonym for liar). They thought at that time, as did I, that the National Guard stayed home and guarded the nation. You know, like they used to do. Anyway, it was his choice to enter the military, but it was not his choice that we be at war. I was not very good at portraying that. Thanks for the gentle critique!

The military doesnt view it as not having a choice. Everyone whos serving now volunteered to do so. There is no draft... thats what they say

Of course, it's touching, heroic, and truth-telling about your son & Iraq
But the art, the address labels --I want some of what you have -- outshone by Sunqueen, and Sapphire.
Brilliant. Keep them close; fight all the way and win. You will always be a winner to us.
