Simple is often profound. Gandhi said "simple living-high thinking" after
other thinkers, perhaps TOLTOY. I liked the kids spelling--and may have commented so in one of my copmments per haiku. Never throw away your work, not matter how bad. Lock it away, perhaps..... and about huffing and puffing at your home? No, I have been onluy known to puff away clothes!

yeah I am surprised you liked it. I tried to make it sweet.
from the kid and parent point of view. The sense of pride, the clumsiness, note the spelling at the end. doll= like a pun. The child seems to be a girl, my own daughter perhaps, she was mad on dolphins when she was a little girl. Thanks for that, I am really chaffed, did not think it was any good. I am sometimes embarassed by the simplicity of my poems. I feel as though it is too child like.

Touching.Parents adore these moments.I've collected my daughters' scribbles
This short poem packs a punch; you build it up slowly into a delightful crescendo. I say this often--'love short poems that do a lot; there's mauch action, a child's complete drawing from start to finsih, int his one. Never judge your own art, marieclaire. You almost did not think this was good!  Viva Les' artes (pardon my French this early in the morning. Bon Jour).
