Sunnybeach, No! But, I've given plenty of them. HAHAHA When I started it, it was because I had four little boys and a husband who thought we could save money that way. I hated it but I complied. By the time that my sons were old enough to care what they looked like, I had improved. In fact, after they got past the place where they didn't want their hair cut at all (Was that the 70's or 80's) they wouldn't have it done anywhere else. I don't think that any of them ever had a haircut anywhere but home until they left home for good.

I hate that!

My mom, I think was just lazy. She didn't want to have to bother with my hair, so she just kept getting it all cut off.

Sunny, one summer, my grandmother had me get a hair cut.....
my brother's hair was longer than mine! I looked like a boy, she figured it would cool me off during the hot months. I'd rather sweat and look like a girl. I never did forgive her for that.

OMG Bel
My mother did that crap too!
From the time I was about 2 yr. till I was at least 5-6 yrs.
My mother got me those cuts...actually, she did it herself...even worse. Everywhere we went, everyone would say "Oh, what a cute little boy you have!"
I still resent this!

no "bowl" cuts, but the summer I spent in army cadets a "bowl" cut...
would have been an improvement over the scalping I got..

Immediate memories of sitting on the kitchen chair, Mum with scissors.
And once refusing to go to school because she hadn't been concentrating properly.

You mean the immortal "Mo"?
(Named after the legendary leader of the Three Stooges.)
No, fortunately, I have not. I have had some bad haircuts, however. Especially the time I tried cutting my own hair when I was around twelve (to spite my mother).
