that is such a good attitude. And much of it is very right. I don't think it will be better until it is over!

It all works itself out in the end
I have come to realize that on many many levels we as human beings have little say in what is going to happen.  We can cheer or criticize it makes little difference.  For me I just pray that it doesn't get worse before it gets better.

We will be stunned when it comes here. Those people walking all over ground zero accusing all sorts of people except those who were at fault will be totally surprised. Thanks for ingo.

Yes, this crisis stuff's so scary, isn't it? So ... well, boring too. " Will you switch channels to Oprah, darling ?"

WE live in a dream world, and we're gonna wake up with a bump. Dennison's post today is a good one.

You are so right. This is it in a nut shell! Who is going to read it or listen to it? Few! More people are concerned with what, where or with whom they will be or having dinner to night that what is really happening in the world. Selfishness is the God of the world at the moment. Sad, sad scenario.

If you look carefully at the world in general you will find that the organizations that do good are like this country that does good. People want to criticize the good and turn it into an ugly thing. I don't know why but it seems that way.

From America's first serious attempt to suppress the Barabry Pirates in the early 19th century ; to her participation in both WW1 and WW11 ; to the postwar Marshal Plan ( the greatest act of altruism in history ; to her transforming a vile Japanese military dictatorship into a flourishing democracy ; to her being the backbone of Nato for decades ; to her ending the Bosnian war, to more things that Icould list in a comment, we all owe America an incalculable debt.

Without American help, we'd all be speaking Russian by now. So what do we do? Sneer, denigrate, undermine, scoff ... you name it.

The Europeans don't even have the guts to put their hands in their pockets and pay for their own defence. Just keep quite, boys, and them nasty terrorists'll go away.

If we take our ball and go home, they'll leave us alone. ( Sorry, Justi!)

Dream on. Until you wake up under sharia law.

One thing that has always sticken a nerve with me is exactly what you stated about everyone always calling on the good ole USA when the crap hits the fan, but then they want to criticize every move and action we take.....If we choose not to get involved, they criticize us for that too....everything is always our fault. It is like we are damned if we do and damned if we do not.

I understand and agree. The issues are very big and all over the world and we are the care takers it appears the world is a big baby we have to take care of sometimes.

I understand!
I feel that the government should focus on issues that deals with the U.S.   Money spent to rebuild countries  after they tore it down.  Don't get me wrong, I understand, but why? -my opinion- angelle
