I don't know, Passion ...

I'd be afraid I might accidentally "make contact".

fourcats (again):
Moon emailed me that he was leaving Blogit forever (for, like, the 9th time) ... he can be awfully dramatic.

Thank you, Saul ...
and yes, such external forces can be quite rough to deal with.

I can only imagine how close I came, Ann ...

I must be more careful in the future.

Sorry to dredge those back up, Bandana.

Thank you, Mason ... I appreciate that.

Carmen Sternwood was the character I most related to, actually.

And yes, the remake of The Big Sleep was as pointless as it would be to try and recreate The Sistine Chapel in Brooklyn ... I mean, what's the point?

I used to have a really serious issue involving public places, BlackPearl ...

Although I've improved a great deal through therapy and yoga.

With my job, I find myself using quite a few public restrooms...

So here's a tip::::: Grab two paper towels and wet one of them. Wipe off the toilet seat with the wet one first and then the dry one.

Wahlah! A nice clean seat to sit down on. If you're really fastidious, you can take along those "Wipes" to clean the seat off with.

Yay, moon!! Oh, brave new day!! (Uh, night.) Anyway, glad to see you
escaped.  Pee pressure -- I mean, peer pressure -- can be quite traumatic.

..your comments about current theaters and various motion pictures
saves me bundles of money... thank you... I am quite content with TCM ...and my vast film noir collection on now glitching videotape... I agree with you "The Big Sleep," ..Phillip Marlowe (Doghouse Riley)...and Mrs Rutlege, General Sternwood... and crazy Carmen, and bad guy Joe Brody... will never be topped... and of course I refer the original Bogy/Bacall version and not cheap remake of the 70's.... keep up the good work... you do the community a good service...

Mademoiselle,
I know the feeling about the public restroom thing.  Glad you were able to avoid a disaster on that one.  Looking forward to seeing your reviews.  Thanks.  :)

What's p.i.c. writing, Moon?

posted by Mademoiselle on July 22, 2006 at 11:02 AM | link to this | reply

Yeah, it's not a good feeling, Bel.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 22, 2006 at 11:01 AM | link to this | reply

However, in this neighborhood, Moon, people (of both genders) tend to be a tad more discreet/couth than that.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 22, 2006 at 11:00 AM | link to this | reply

P.S. IGNORE your mother. Go back to the p.i.c. writing.....or is this piece perhaps headed in that direction? Moon_Spirit  (by the way, she still has not called or otherwise attempted to contact me)

Madem, while I sincerely believe the female of the species to be much more highly evovled in every regard; there is that one little difference that the male has which (can be) is a definite advantage in situations like this. Just a quick step behind a bush or a building and no one knows the difference. I guess God had to give males one advantage. Moon_Spirit
