Well, that is true Mark, but I think I was picking on them because
I had one and I babied it and babied it and read books and did everything I was supposed to and the stupid thing never did bloom. When things got bad between my mother in law and me and I finally had enough and left, the stupid plant burst into bloom, sent off shoots and they bloomed and it totally sucked. I hate that damn plant!

but I disagree with you about orchids being delicate. They're one of the most hardy flowering plants I know. :-)

One last look at these ORCHIDS before I leave--they're in TWO haiku corners
for all the butterflies to visit....I hope i see many varieties including MC (multi-colored moth)--shalom till the morrow-this parting is beyond human sorrow -- diving into the night's fruitful marrow, YPUN
