Marie
Beautiful poetry. I am sorry to say I had not read you but I found you on dear Musers comments page. Be blessed. I will be reading you consistently now.

Troosha, there are legions! Jentoblues take a leaf off my book?
Yes I have inner struggles, more than I can reveal here. But don't we all struggle in some way or other? Actually, I am also poking fun at myself. A part of me likes to be naughty and guilt does not really stop me, it only spoils the fun...
Jentoblues, I can flirt any place any time with anyone, but....only from a safe distance, guys are fascinating but too scary for me.

I've read this twice now
and wasn't sure what comment to leave.  I didn't want to be presumptuous but it felt as though you were struggling with inner demons.  I hope you find peace.

Sounds like...
something I should be saying to the men I've dated.

Glad I stopped...missed u in the hurly-burly of life. While talking to God
you made a logvely, naughty and endearing poem. I guess the Creator loves honesty and the fact u do try to honor the Word. Shalom, keep well, keep trying, keep hopeful---God is Faithful.

Marie! As the Apostle Paul so humbly put it....
in Romans 7....19. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.   20. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.   21. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.   22. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:   23. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.   24. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?   25. I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.    THE WAY I SEE IT.... if a man of Paul's righteousness can battle with this, it must not be so uncommon for me to have a similar and probably worse problem. If any one of us were capable of perfection, there would have been no reason for Jesus to die on the cross! Feel better? Keep trying..... me too! Oh yeah, you are writing some really nice stuff. This is great! Very humbling.

Marie,
We are all a work in progress...Isn't it a blessing that He stays with us until we get it right? Thank you for writing and for sharing it with us!

You are both so right
we try so hard and keep coming up short :)  it's not easy to live rightly but the important thing is we try.

Yes, marieclaire! It's so easy to do the things we shouldn't...so hard to
do the things we should!
