I don't even want to set foot in his bathroom, markng ...

It's just not worth it, even for revenge.

Thanks for dropping by, Mari-am.

LOL!
Make it look like an accident. Induce a slip up in the bathroom, statistically that is the most dangerous place in the house. :-D

No can do, Mason ...

A line (in the sand) has been crossed. And this time, it's personal.

Cool. Thanks, Ben.

Pugsley, um, Pavel is younger, Runs at dawn ...

He turns 17 in November.

We hear that comparison all the time, Blanche, (to the Addams family) for a variety of reasons.

I'm a huge fan of his New Yorker cartoons, btw.  The show and movies missed the mark, however, being far lighter in tone than Charles Addams' vision.

Actually, ShutterCat, I think the uniform might be red here in Philly ...

Either way, if the warden will allow me to coordinate, I should be just fine.

Whichever day of the week, you're still guessing well. Congrats, you've won.

I was never really able to take revenge on my brother
You go ahead and do it for all the times I couldn't! BTW, is he older or younger than you?

Mademoiselle, coincidentally, Wednesday happens to be name of the
child in that other wacky family, The Adams.  It may not be just a day of the week, but a persona.

On the murdering thing, how do you look in orange?

Apparently, Troosha ... at least it is in America.

However, I think it might be Thursday already in the UK.  Oh, and for some reason, in Trinidad & Tobago, it's still Monday.

P.S. Thank you so much for the compliment.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 12:30 PM | link to this | reply

How about a deep breath and letting it all roll off your back.
Just a thought.....    You are a wonderful story teller.  It's Wednesday, right?

Thank you, nireo ...

I do try.

Let us hope that is the case, Passion.

That's odd, .Dave.,

Because she doesn't look anything like a boy.

In all seriousness, though, I've never heard that name on a guy.

Manon (pronounced man-own) is a French name, similar to Marie.

you crack me up..

LMAO - I guess you should to with #1-
I'm sure you're clever enough to cover up your crime.

posted by Passionflower on August 2, 2006 at 9:03 AM | link to this | reply

I always thought Manon was a boy until today. It's nearly Thursday here by
the way.

But by then, Darrke, I'm likely to have forgotten the whole thing.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 7:26 AM | link to this | reply

Wait until Christmas, or some other major holiday...and don't tell him.  See how he likes a taste of his own medicine...if that doesn't work murder is still an option.

Once again though, Factor, that would leave me vulnerable in the future.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 7:06 AM | link to this | reply

Violence is never the answer
public embarrassment, maybe...

posted by FactorFiction on August 2, 2006 at 7:04 AM | link to this | reply

What good would that do, Bandana?

Besides, his eyebrows are already pretty light as it is.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 6:57 AM | link to this | reply

But, Factor, if he's conscious, he then would also be capable of hurting me.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 6:56 AM | link to this | reply

Instead of murdering him in his sleep.
I believe you should shave one of his eyebrows.

posted by bandanafish on August 2, 2006 at 6:53 AM | link to this | reply

I am SURE you will come up with a suitable prank
which involves a conscious Pavel afterwards so that he might realize your genius...

Editor's note:

For anyone wondering what exactly the "incident" was, here's the link:

I didn't put it in the post because it only took place a few days ago.

I suppose nearly all sibling relationships are similarly fraught with conflict , TAPS ...

I actually have an older brother as well (different mother) ... but we don't talk about him.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 6:15 AM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle, This so reminds me of the days of my youth when my only brother was still alive and my most intelligent sis and I reacted with him in our daily lives during our teen years.   My mother and father were totally stymied as to how to relate to us so dad just stayed at work as much as he could and mom would go shopping or visit the neighbors.

posted by TAPS. on August 2, 2006 at 6:11 AM | link to this | reply

Um, that should be "who's" (who is).

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 6:00 AM | link to this | reply

Besides, Moon, I have an uncle whose a lawyer, so I'm sure he could probably recommend someone.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 5:59 AM | link to this | reply

Unfortunately, Strat, he has a "steady" girlfriend ...

who I get along with quite well, actually ... of course, she nonetheless remains a potential target.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 5:58 AM | link to this | reply

I think you're right...she had a few good songs...

posted by Ariala on August 2, 2006 at 5:56 AM | link to this | reply

Strat!!!
That is just wicked!!!  Remind me to come to you when I want revenge on someone.

posted by bel_1965 on August 2, 2006 at 5:55 AM | link to this | reply

Thanks again, Ariala ... I remember seeing the video now.

She's actually the great, great granddaughter of Edgar Allen Poe, I believe.

Madem, when I suggested the insanity defense I wasn't thinking of the statistical success........I was sort of thinking more along the lines that it would be a rather simple defense for your lawyer to put forth.  Thank you bel!! Moon_Spirit (.......uhhhhhh.......meaning of course that I am sure that your family would provide you with only the best.)

You want to hit him where he lives?
Wait until he has a date with the woman of his dreams. Then slip him a dose of salt peter in his drink before he goes out.

The horror...the horror...

ROFLMAO @ Moon

posted by bel_1965 on August 2, 2006 at 5:49 AM | link to this | reply

That's a popular misconception, Moon ...
In reality, the insanity defense is very rarely successful (less than 2% of the time).

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 5:49 AM | link to this | reply

Thanks for the offer, Ariala.
I kinda slightly recall that song ... but not really.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 5:47 AM | link to this | reply

While bel_1965 is technically correct, it should be fairly simple for you to beat the charges with an insanity defense. That way you will only have to spend the rest of your life in an institution for the criminally insane. Then you will be in a position to write some really good blogs. No, no, don't thank me. P.S.
Pennsylvania does have the death penalty ... though rarely carries it out.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 5:47 AM | link to this | reply

Good point, Bel ...

I suppose I could always go back and edit it out later though.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 2, 2006 at 5:46 AM | link to this | reply

I would play that song Johnny by Poe as you decide how to do it. Let me

know if I can help.

posted by Ariala on August 2, 2006 at 5:44 AM | link to this | reply

The problem with #1

is you have put it out here.  That immediately proves intent.  I don't know if your state has the death penalty but something tells me that prison drab is not your color.

You might want to try and recall the other one.
