Mad, you know, those other women with fat asses! Lol

Then who were you talking to, Kingmi?

Someone else named Mademoiselle?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 6, 2006 at 5:03 PM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle, How mean! I was not referring to you!

SEE previous comment, Bhaskar.ing.

That's a private matter between myself and Mr. Ebert, markng.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 6, 2006 at 3:40 AM | link to this | reply

I'm not even going to dignify that comment with a response, Kingmi.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 6, 2006 at 3:39 AM | link to this | reply

Actually, Blanche, I don't think it was Roger Ebert who uttered those lines; it was a comedian (during a Friar's Club roast).

In recent years, Ebert has dramatically toned down the personal attacks. Plus, he's always been supportive of Garafalo's career (he even gave Dogma 3 stars).

As to your question, I would have thought the show would just end without Ebert. However, seeing as they've been able to get Kevin Spacey, Quentin Tarantino, and even Jay Leno to fill in opposite Richard Roeper .. I guess I was mistaken.

I suppose so, Ben ... though, he could have just said I had a nice ass.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 6, 2006 at 3:30 AM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle, please don't finish so abruptly. He 'grabbed my ass, and I
kinda liked it'. What then? Why did the crowd come in between!

posted by Bhaskar.ing on August 5, 2006 at 5:39 PM | link to this | reply

is that all?
I mean what really happened after the grab?

posted by markng on August 4, 2006 at 10:11 PM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle, women with really fat asses get confused a lot! Lol

posted by kingmi on August 4, 2006 at 9:06 PM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle,

Roger Ebert reviewed a Janeane Garrofalo movie, and said he had some career advice for her, (she'd had a string of dogs, including Dogma, badabump), "You can turn a role down.  Your last movie is so bad it opened at Blockbuster.  Gene Siskel was going to review it, but he took the easy way out."

That will be sad, if Roger Ebert dies, then who is going to play the foil that twit they replaced Siskel with?

LMAO! Okay...Well as long as you know the Robots were a dream....
I won't be too worried about the rest of it.

One way of looking at it is that he paid you the compliment.

Congrats, 10 clicks are here. Thanks for playing.

I barely knew him! Plus he's married.

Did you -want- him to grab your ass?
LOL

That's usually a good policy to employ, Moon.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 4, 2006 at 10:28 AM | link to this | reply

Madem, while 11 years is a long time I suppose, sort of, in a relativistic kind of way, it really is NOT forever. Multiple, nefarious comments come to mind concerning the ass-grabbing but, operating from usual vantage spot of tact, I will refrain from commenting. Moon_Spirit

However, I would have much preferred Johnny Depp's assistance, fourcats.
