It's not as though you don't already know this, but
you've got a gift for metaphor. I love the lines about the arctic waste of a bed and lying in it like logs covered with spiked bark. Been there, done that, got the tee shirt. Also love the tender romanticisms, the itemizations of things you love... Cool Beaners! as my daughter-in-law says in admiration of something.

Thank you. Yep, it's been 36 years now. See, true love can last a lifetime, and you sort of grow into each other. Lady Ariela's my life and my only love.
In all that time, I've never even thought of being unfaithful, because then come the napalm words,and the hurt that never heals. How could I do that? No way. Not for me.
