I sort of feel the same way, but to be fair I never write anymore, really.  I almost commented on my own blog when there were no comments for 2 days!  I need to catch up, but where did you move to??

I'd know you were gone when I next came back to check!
Hope you're doing well!

The age old question
we only lose perspective on this when we let Blogit become too important to us

Hello Julia....
and now I've noticed you, and you are added to my favorites: two writers toiling in relative obscurity...together.  Don't stop......

Don't go!
We--well, me at least, and I'm sure a few others--would hate for you to go.  I like the blogs you write, especially about your cats...it's reassuring to know I'm not the only one in the would who's breathed too much litter dust. ;)

This is Difficult
I have been in the number one spot as ASK DR. TERRELL and made it to 3 with this name.  I have not been on line in about 3 weeks so you know where my name is now!!  Hang in there and get what enjoyment you can.  I took off a few days to work with my class reunion, reunited with old friends and now my life has been too full to write.  I have joined a couple dance classes (Salsa and a Line Dance) and I am getting in good shape as well.  I will read you when I can!!

Julia, You and I are kind of on the same go round on Blogit.  I think that one thing that contributes to your lack of popularity compared with "then" is the fact that you used to keep up four blogs day in and day out and now you have just one whenever you write.   It is exposure sweetie.   Your name is just not out there for people to see.  Your writing is fine.   Also, I think there are bloggers who still haven't associated the name Julia with who you used to be.   Posting once a day on one blog like I mostly do now (and you) is not enough to keep one in the top ten.    My advice would be to give yourself a chance to get settled and then really go for it.

a readership. Hang in there!

Hey, Julia.,
Don't you dare leave... I enjoy reading and commenting on your posts.  Sure, I don't get around much, but it's always a pleasure when I do.  Go ahead and take a break if you feel like it, but definitely stick around.  I'm glad you're blogging here.  :)

I just stopped in to say hello and had no idea you were feeling so bad about the lack of comments. I think most of us are experiencing the same thing because there are so many other things to do when the weather is nice. Ask yourself this question.. Who would Brightirish set all those special little Kitty Kat's aside for if I was to leave?

Stay around, Julia. It gets better around here every day; and with you
a part of it- even more so.

You can't go anywhere! I'm just now starting to get to know you!

Just chalk up the lack of comments to the weekend. Maybe everyone is having such a good weekend.....they don't have time to blog.

Know the feelin' very well, my dear!

It's a bit like a greasy pole, hard to get up, but so easy to slide down. I've been up there in the dizzy heights of the top ten, then down in mephitic depths of the 300s, now hovering in the late 30s early 40s.

I once felt exactly like you, and posted a " Why the hell should I bother!" bit, and I was bowled over with pleas not to leave. Many from people I had no idea ever read me ; even did'nt like my blog!

So, I add my voice to theirs. Please don't leave. And I shall add you to my favourites list, so at least you'll get some clicks.

I, for one, have seen your comment in my blog and felt glad. I've missed you, no matter what you think of your status here. And, I know it takes a lot of time and socializing to become popular. It's not all about good writing.
