Loved your blog. I was in France for over 2 years at RCAF 2 Fighter Wing/Gros Tenquin, back in the fifties.
Je viens de Province du Québec, mais je parle mal. -;)
I drove in Paris, it was nearly as scary as Montréal. lol

The thing I recall about driving
is gazole which is more economic than other fuels.

French makes no sense to me...
too many consonants that are silent...I took about 3 lessons once and decided to move on to a more guttural language...
