do you mind if I park my vineyards in your corner?
I felt obliged to write something, so this is my feeble attempt.
vineyards a thing of
the past root stock yanked out
new crops growing there
grandfather’s pride died
with father’s ruthless hand on
his bequeathed vineyard
wine in the cellar
vintage year perhaps here is
always hoping so
dead straight rows twisted
vine follows after last no
choice in the matter
sweet or sour grapes
which wine do you foment in your
heart of heart I wonder?
vine intertwined with
joy and sorrow grow life goes
on producing fruit
