Offbeats, I actually am enjoying it. Never a dull moment!
I'm thankful to say, though, that yesterday I only had one (male) sports physical to do, and this kid was delightful . . . and the same age as the other boy, but a totally different encounter!

Corbin, sorry to leave you hanging.
He didn't pass out, but I'd say he came pretty close.   He peeled off his clothing with great reluctance . . . .

Justi, my dear, I did not quite grasp your comment.
But I am enjoying the job.  My parents have said I should start compiling notes of all the funny comments made.  It could turn into quite an amusing book!

babe rocks, you must be taking an ace inhibitor. . . .
That particular class of BP meds can cause a cough in about 25% of cases.  Have you tried switching to something else???

I cough from taking bp medicine.  At least I'm not spreading germs.

Jane,
I guess some of your interactions with patients can be rather difficult! Actually, I had forgotten that you're a nurse, but now that I remember, hey, I could use a little TLC myself right now...

Rumored, let's just say he was not a happy camper.
He didn't faint, but it was my impression that he would have given anything to be able to crawl under a rock.  Actually, on a sadder note, his reaction made me wonder if there had ever been a history of abuse.  Although not a fun thing -- being examined for a hernia by a woman -- the other kids have been pretty game about the whole thing . . . except for this guy.  Which made me a little suspicious.  Who knows.  Needless to say, I was very kind and gentle . . . .

omg..lol...and after you explained to him what a testicle was in the
vernacular, did he faint?.....

Ha! Blackcat, in all honesty, it IS fun!!!!
There is never a dull day, and I never know what to expect from my patients. . . .
