It's big business and as soon as things go sour, the corporate machine will cut its losses. Still, I think the whole side shoot of Cruise's people not cooperating is a real possibility.

I'm sure that plays into it. Wasn't he refusing to publicize Mission Impossible because of the South Park thing or something to that effect?

Hey, terpgirl. Although it sounds like a reasonable reason, it doesn't
make sense. This man has made them hundreds of millions of dollars, regardless of his eccentricities. Some sources are saying that Cruise's people pulled out of contract negotiations. Paramount lost the Billion Dolllar Boy and they're trying to save face.
