WTF!!

I'd rip, slash, burn that bloody thing if it is near my house!  But that explains a few things about your ...ahem.. inspirations... :D

Particularly in tandem with the actual security fence, Corbin.

That might be something wrong with your computer screen, shelly ...

perhaps you should have it checked.

Not really, Rumored ...

Though it does sort of dance in the wind ... plus eat kites.

You have some strange imagination, fourcats!

posted by Mademoiselle on August 27, 2006 at 6:43 AM | link to this | reply

Apparently a common misconception, Tanga.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 27, 2006 at 6:42 AM | link to this | reply

Well, what was the answer, Darrke?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 27, 2006 at 6:41 AM | link to this | reply

Um, I have no clue, Ann ...

Bushes have different species?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 27, 2006 at 6:40 AM | link to this | reply

Yeah, she's a pretty sharp girl, Moon.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 27, 2006 at 6:39 AM | link to this | reply

That's precisely the image I was hoping to impart, marieclaire.

Me, personally, Whacky?

Absolutely not! Sounds more like a job for a gardener.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 27, 2006 at 6:36 AM | link to this | reply

Ohhhhh!!!

I see dead bushes!

It looks a bit like kudzu vine that is creeping across the south.......but the bigger pic shows it to me a much stranger variety..........Heck of a security fence though!

posted by Corbin_Dallas on August 26, 2006 at 4:49 PM | link to this | reply

If you stare at it long enough, it moves.

posted by shelly_b on August 26, 2006 at 1:03 PM | link to this | reply

that is scary..does it get up and move around? thats enough to haunt me...
.....I would not want to venture into that bush in daylight let alone in the dark of night

posted by Rumor on August 26, 2006 at 4:43 AM | link to this | reply

okay, i see camouflaged igloos.

I thought you may have been
reffering to an ex-president, or current for that matter. You do have scary bush there though

posted by Tanga on August 25, 2006 at 11:02 PM | link to this | reply

I suppose if I really look at it hard...
the bushes resemble some kind of "back from the dead" creature.  Good thing my imagination isn't inclined to come up with monsters much...I should post a picture of "Ghost Rock".  We parked there for the night and Johnathan was a little nervous...kept asking if the ghosts could get in the truck or not!

posted by DarrkeThoughts on August 25, 2006 at 9:10 PM | link to this | reply

Kind of thick, like some bushes are.

What species is that?

(A)

......Oh!..........until the last line (technically the second to last line) I thought it was scary because it was given to you to do the trimming.......actually, I think that bandanafish's comment makes the most sense - it's the only theory advanced here that is really reasonable......and that time you were pushed into the bush.....well, you just didn't go in far enough.....the rash was obviously deliberate to prevent further investigation......yeah, stick with the fish.....er, I mean the bandanafish.....there's a very reasonable young woman.  MoonSpirit

I am sure this bush comes to life at night and starts dancing....
with little gremlins grinning their green teeth at you.....yes this is the most potentially frightening bush I have ever seen! It is teeming with creepy scummmy life of all kinds. Lovely bush!

posted by marieclaire66 on August 25, 2006 at 2:00 PM | link to this | reply

Have you thought about trimming the bushes?

Might keep those monsters out!

posted by Whacky on August 25, 2006 at 1:57 PM | link to this | reply

What if you add some spooky sounds, Passion?

Such as the wind howling, or chains rustling?

Does that help?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 1:36 PM | link to this | reply

Hmmm...I tried to do what you said, but just ain't feeling it.

And, that makes all the difference, too, Rcky.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:54 PM | link to this | reply

Oh, I get it now (your e-mail).

wait. Something's not right... why do I have a feeling Bush's eavesdropping... or even looking at us? You know, one of those creepy feelings.

Anyway, do you want to talk here, or . Either way is fine.

posted by bandanafish on August 25, 2006 at 12:52 PM | link to this | reply

Hahaha, I didn't see that, but he didn't have a picture for effect! LOL

Second person to make that joke, Rcky ...

Talion beat you to it.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:50 PM | link to this | reply

The frogs troubled my mother, as well.

Even though, technically, such an occurrence has actually happened (in California). And thus, can be taken literally.

I prefer to see it as a metaphor, however.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:49 PM | link to this | reply

Madame...Now here's a real scary Bush

posted by RckyMtnActivist on August 25, 2006 at 12:49 PM | link to this | reply

I suppose so. I haven't gotten it.

posted by bandanafish on August 25, 2006 at 12:48 PM | link to this | reply

I replied to your email, T ...

which means you should receive it sometime within the next few days.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:47 PM | link to this | reply

Oh that's right. Uma Thurman.

You mean the Magnolia question?

Well, you know how all those frogs start raining down? What is that about? Is it something about "absudities?"

posted by bandanafish on August 25, 2006 at 12:45 PM | link to this | reply

Uma Thurman.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:42 PM | link to this | reply

1. It's complicated, and up for individual interpretation, I suppose.

2. My email is so fucking slow. I don't get it.

3. Um, could you repeat that question?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:41 PM | link to this | reply

what's that bellybutton monster's name again?!
I keep on forgetting.

posted by bandanafish on August 25, 2006 at 12:40 PM | link to this | reply

Yeah, I would read it if you send it.

posted by bandanafish on August 25, 2006 at 12:38 PM | link to this | reply

Well, I just wrote you my fav. movies too.
I had a question about Magnolia, maybe I can just ask you here. What's up with those frogs? What do they mean?

posted by bandanafish on August 25, 2006 at 12:37 PM | link to this | reply

Yes, Rcky, it is "someone's" property ... sort of.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:36 PM | link to this | reply

I wrote a "great movies" review of it for CityPaper ...
Once I locate it, I could send it to you, if you'd like.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:36 PM | link to this | reply

Hahaha Madame...a human person's property! LOL That kind of someone.

posted by RckyMtnActivist on August 25, 2006 at 12:35 PM | link to this | reply

How much time do you have, T?

It is, in my estimation, the best children's movie ever made. And the only movie that never fails to cheer me up regardless of my mood.

In fact, I've shouted down many a fellow film school student over its myriad merits.

I watch it every single Thanksgiving, btw.

question: why do you like Babe: Pig in the City?

posted by bandanafish on August 25, 2006 at 12:27 PM | link to this | reply

See, I'm trying to shame my mother into allowing me to post personal stuff ...

Because, otherwise, these last few posts represent the only alternative.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:25 PM | link to this | reply

Define someone, Rcky?

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:23 PM | link to this | reply

Perhaps so, Bandana ...

Btw, one time, my brother pushed me, and I fell into it. I didn't end up tumbling through a vortex into any other dimensions, though.

However, I did receive quite a rash.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:22 PM | link to this | reply

Hi Madame....It's actually quite beautiful but I agree it would be creepy
at night.  Is that someone's private property?

posted by RckyMtnActivist on August 25, 2006 at 12:19 PM | link to this | reply

It is creepy... like, some kind of an unspoken force.

It feels as if you walked really close to it, it would all of sudden go "whoa!" and lift up all that "hair" (somebody needs a haircut), and gobble you "in".

And then, you'd hear a lot of "hey, what up." "The last time I saw you, you were still playing rocks with your brother outside" from some ancient missing person's case around your area... strangely, they were all alive still, living under that bush. There might be a whole new civilization underneath, like the Lord of The Flies, or the movie, The Beach.

My imagination is clearly too vivid.

posted by bandanafish on August 25, 2006 at 12:18 PM | link to this | reply

Also, mysteria, it's kind of a creepy color.

posted by Mademoiselle on August 25, 2006 at 12:10 PM | link to this | reply

It looks scary because it is a lattace for a creeping vine that

looks like it will soon crush its host!

What about Reggie, Talion?

He frightens opposing defensive coordinators.
