I guess she just doesn't like being portrayed in an accurate light, Passion.

I'm sure you can get around that condition somehow. You must have done a great job in making your house sparkle. You've done so well to get 20 clicks.

Fourcats...what would have been fair is to rotate the chore duties.

Your mother should trust you more.
You're very intelligent and not at all the type of person who would write X-rated or objectionable material. I don't see why your mother is so distrustful of you. Perhaps SHE was a bit promiscuous (or whatever) when she was your age, so now she believes you'll do what she did.
This is usually the reason parents act this way.

I used to suspect my father shared that very same "gift", fourcats ...
Though, in hindsight, he probably just needed a hearing aid.

that was my one chore as a little kid - to clean the bathrooms. i can't
tell you how sad it made me. my sisters got to mow the lawn, riding on a rider mower (i could do it, just never given the chore) or clean the pool, lolling about in the sunshine, or do gardening, refreshing the soil, transplanting trees from the woods, creating life as it were and seeing the progress of it's growth. for me it was two bathrooms a week, two sinks, two shower/tubs, two toilets. oh, and fourcats, don't forget to do the porcelain base of the toilet and around the pipes at the back and the mirror and the toothbrush holder and the soapdish and the........
i literally cried a few times and begged to be allowed to do something else but that was my chore. my mother's gift was not in hearing what others had to say.

I guess I'll have to ask her, Rcky ...
She'd probably want me to, like, clean the bathrooms, though.
And, that ain't happening!

I actually took "Fisherman's Friend" lozenges the last time I was really sick, fourcats (on my doctor's recommendation).
They really worked wonders ... but God, are they nasty.

perhaps some 'fisherman's friend' lozenges for her throat......you know, to
help with the swallowing...
and how can you not see the igloos? especially the one in the middle, it's so obvious! so you know ther're eskimos hiding in there somewhere.

Hopefully, things will improve once the school year begins, and I go stay with my aunt ...
Of course, she is twice as strict as my mother ... so, actually, that won't really help at all.

However, there are some things about my grandmother, Michelle and my mother herself that I am absolutely dying to post.
