Life is good, Young Miss.
Except I am sporting a whompin' sunburn on my 12 -pack ab. And I left the top down on my car during a rainstorm. But nothing Febreeze and a little aloe can't fix.
I've been following your exploits in your other blogs. Sorry about what you're going through with your mom. That's always a tough one.

I have talked to you briefly in the past, and don't know you "well", but I think I know you well enough to know that you wouldn't do what has been said that you did. Not only do I think it would be so unlike you, but it wouldn't be worth the negativity that could result.
Having said that....I'm so glad you're back. You have been one of the major influences in my decision to seek new paths and understanding, enabling me to return to Blogit, not so long ago, as a different person than I was before. Love and Blessings!

Absolutely, Spitfire, who else will mock the Burger King, as he so richly
deserves if not you. I miss your "things that make you go huh?" posts. BTW, I had a non-confrontational conversation with the boyfriend of the woman who left her dog in her Honda twice for hours while he and she took off in his Ford Tahoe.
I said, "Please, you guys, don't leave your dog in your car. It could kill him." He sputtered, tried to backpedal, as he was just parking and getting out of the Tahoe alone, and said,' "There's no dog in the car." I said, "I meant the purple Honda Civic (illegally parked in the guest space, you schmuck, but we wont' mention THAT), not the Tahoe.:" and I turned and walked away. I said my piece, and I got my point across, which is, "Other people know and care about your dog, let's cut to the chase and not do this dance". I know how you feel about animals. I do, too. and I feel good about having said something.

I don't want to do this with you or anyone. However, I did feel the need to respond to your comment here. I am not a liar and I am not an evil person. I know you didn't call me an evil person, but saying that I gave a spell or curse or whatever to someone is not only absolutely untrue, but it portrays me in an evil light. It is unfair and that post was unnecessary and hurtful. Besides, it was a long time ago. Why did you repost it in the first place? I've received a ton of private emails from bloggers telling me they don't believe I would do such a thing anyway. But, it's still out there and I just don't understand why you would do this. Please stop. You have the right to write whatever you want, yes, but would you stand by and not respond when you're being written about in a negative light especially when it's untrue? You also have the right to believe whatever you want, true or untrue.

energy to this, and feeding the beast of public defamation. Re: the first comment below. Free speech is one thing,and I believe in the "don't read if you don't like it" standard of blogging, with one HUGE caveat, which is if YOU are the subject of the post, and the one being defamed? Don't you have the right to defend yourself and face your accuser? I think that's somewhere in the Bill of Rights. "And, yes, the part about Christians not judging (at least without facts), is definitely in my handbook as a Christian.
Anyway, I know you from the blog and our conversations to be a warm, caring, very real person, and that's all I need to know. So, welcome back, and don't be a stranger. I send you lots of positive energy and hope you are loving Oregon as much as I did.
