Thor, my dad's restaurant is mostly about burgers
There's about 54 different burgers on the menu.
It was very nice to be able to go right to the source on my internet problems.

Wow, research topics ....
I loved doing research papers in college. Let's see....
You are into martial arts, so you could do a comparative history of your two favourites.
You are into running, so you could research the literature for the pros and cons of running/jogging as exercise.
You have a son, so you could do a paper on how childcare theories have evolved from, say, 1900 to the present.
Did you say history? You oculd do a paper researching the six wives of Henry VIII and how they were alike and how they were unalike.
You could also do a thesis on crime prevention from the Middle Ages to the modern age.
You've got LOTS of possibilities, my friend!

Bummer, but...
It stinks to become increasingly dependent upon the internet and have it crash. It is noce though that you livein a town small enough to track the problem down and get person to person contact fo rinfor and resolution. I use Comcast, and they have gone downin my area for days at a time, especially with all the rain. What kind of restaurant does your Dad run? Oh, and glad to have you back of course.

Glad you are back up and running.
As for the research papers...seems like I used a history assignment and used the English teacher as my proof-reader...one paper, 2 grades. Probably not the recommended way to go, huh?
