Blogging
does take time. I do it mainly early in the mornings or late at night. I have the convenience of working from home so I can always "pop" in and post a few comments anytime of day. I also believe that once you have built up loyal readers they will make a point of visiting a site whenever they spot something new posted.

Julia
I realize myself, that when I'm not posting and commenting everyday, my ratings go down, but I have a lot of work to do most of the time. I'm finding myself slowly spending less and less time on blogit.
I enjoy your post.....please stick with it.

I'm sorry.
I am slightly schizo with ADD so I just don't do it everyday because that would mean I was actually consistent at something which would not be like my personality and passion to write ... my stream of conscious takes over and I check in and out now and then and try to focus but its hard like this sentence that will never end... I will be back in a couple of weeks to finish this thought...
LOL!!!!

You are universal in you message for all Blogiteers, I believe. Even though you may not be as deliriously passionate as you used to be (you know....things that come with age e,g., ...cold,.. unresponsive....etc., etc...), please keep writing as regularly as you can. We all love them, and you too !

Great post, Julia !! There are so many good posts, lost somehow, in the nonsense noise of only a few.

it still has it's moments... but it's definitely different than it was when
I first joined. There are a lot of great newcomers though... and I have a feeling that fall and the cold winter months may bring people back out to blog... or maybe not? Who knows.

Hi .. I can sense a big difference now and when I joined. I do remember when you were constantly posting and I also remember the ' Blogger Blooper Award' that you so graciously honered me with
. Take Care!

Yep, things have certainly changed ~

All things considered, that may not be a bad thing....

I simply don't have the time it takes to chat here. I get on and read or post, then go back to the kids and all. If it's any consolation, I read you when I see your name, whether it be on the comments or in the ranks.

Yes, I've noticed the same thing.
And I feel the same way.

Julia., it's part of the game, I suppose,
My life has gone through phases, when Blogit was an invaluable emotional support. I've seen people join for a variety of reasons, and come and go for a variety of reasons. Like Ginnieb and MedusaNextDoor, who wanted to focus on their serious writing.
I remember when you were QuirkyAlone, and then Quirky. I've seen you work through a lot. I hope it's been a good experience, on balance.

ya know wot ur dead right i left as most know last yr in the middle of
trauma at home i come bk and yes still the same names and positions a few newbies yeah but nowhere near as much fun n action as when i left. Perhaps its because the oldies here have just become part of the furniture and need re-vamping a good night on the town to put that fun flame and flavour back into blogit.

You've got to stay on daily and post to several blogs
at least once a day and comment on everything. For years I've wondered too how people do it. Ariala has been number one for years...doesn't she have laundry to do or something?
I'm quitting for a while...it all of a sudden feels like a juvenile waste of time to me.
