Azur,
I went through your list hoping not to see any of my habits/mindset/qualities listed there.

Azur
You're bringing up an important topic that many do not want to think about. The writing business is a game, and anyone interested in becoming a writer must jump through hoops to establish himself. Nicely done.

Some people go into writing to avoid interpersonal conflict or friction
Is there creative discourse without friction or occasional conflict?

what a great list!
However, my favorite part of your post was the "tittle tattle." hehe. I've never heard that before!

You are describing the typical adolescent writer to a tee.

Good points, Azur, keeping my eye on the goal and not staying focused on
that is probably my own form of self-sabotage. As you said, what good are principles if they are never tested or exposed to the light of day?

Frankenkitty, how could I forget zombies - doh?
Maybe it's because I'm one too. I think that the zombie life is the way to be. You can't fail then

How about zombie saboteurs?
Zombies sabotage everything, and they don't even have the extensive reasoning and evaluation skills that we're supposed to have. How is that? Even in zombie movies, we are our own worst enemies. Does that mean our learning capacities don't account for inability to let go of destructive emotions? Hmmm. Azur, I think I better lay off the zombie movies. Take care

Great post, Azur.
They say that vertigo is not so much a fear of falling as a fear of jumping. I get that for real and I also get it as metaphor in the ambitious parts of my life. I'm getting it now as I start out on my new workshops business.
It may be a repost, but it's still fresh. Perhaps you titivated it a bit for the current market on here.

Azur, I am clear of this check list, although I do sabotage myself in
other ways. It is nice to see that I am at least semi-healthy minded...sometimes. That means there is still hope! Thanks for the information.

Thank you Ypunday although I am not sure why the
birthday reference arose. I wrote this post some years ago and a couple of people really liked it. Most didn't because it reminded them too much of themselves. Well I must away to write, this girl has bills to pay.
