I have two pics of round huts--inside one is an amazing scene of comfort.

The indigenous peoples of South Africa made round homes- rondavels & some
are very elaborate and painted, and have thatched huts skillfully made to keep out the worst storms. Your post reminded me of these ---and lots of good memories. I wish some of the old, peaceful South Africa will remain until I get there for a visit with my two daughters...one day. Shalom--Neil

Patterns. I like patterns. A row of tulips. Stepping stones.
and balance. Leaf patterns, shadows. A round house sounds cool -- no corners to dust. No matter where you put your furniture, it would be the right place -- no corners to balance against. Hmmm.

There are a house and a church around here that aren't exactly round but are more octagon. I like leaves, tendrils, fruit and flower designs. Depends on the context.

You should visit
Africa, many round houses (bungalows) are around. (sorry could not resist that weak pun). Some have as many as three bedrooms. They are mainly built by game lodges. I enjoy circles and swirls as well.

a round house would be cool but also present
challenges, such as, where to put all your square furniture in a house with no corners!
