Julia.,
Wow.  Reunion time, all around.  I enjoyed sharing in your revenge.  I think that's a big part of what reunions are about, though no one will likely admit it.  Funny story.  Thanks.  :)

The last reunion I went to...
I thought enough time had passed that I could talk to the girl I had a crush on.  But then she showed up looking better than ever.  Redemption was not mine.  Maybe ten years from now.  If I remember who they all are!

How great that

you got your revenge on him.  The only thing that puts me off revenge... is that its takes too damn long.  You have to wait years to feel it.   I enjoyed this post.

when i was at my last reunion, i ran into a fellow from my class who was
there with his wife.  i related a story to him of an unkind habit he used to pull with me, he was shocked, had no memory of it and became very contrite.  his wife was a little shocked too as his past bevavior was not something she had experienced.  i looked at my friend and told him not to worry about it, that i knew it wasn't the core of who he was, that it was just something that happened and was in the past.  he was very grateful.  it was good for me to be able to talk to him about it, one of those silly things you carry with you, speaking about it exorcised it from my "bad memory" bank and now it's become a good laugh between us.

Ooooh boy, sweet revenge.
What would have made it sweeter was if he was now 300 pounds and you were the svelte you from your photo . . . . (Not to be petty or such, but hey! those thoughts are very human, eh?)

Good for you! There are a couple of old classmates I would like
to get some sweet revenge with!

Julia, usually I'm not an advocate of getting revenge, but I kind of liked this one.  LOL   I never could stand name calling.

The good news was that he has changed enough to be embarrassed

JULIA
I don't know..I think revenge can be sweet but most times it is sour. Sometimes it is best to leave well enough alone I suppose...depends on the crime!

People always called me shorty...I wish I could have shown them all by

becoming 5' 9", but thanks to their name calling, I'm still short, and yes, it's all their fault hahaha

Glad you told his wife!

Julia.
Revenge is a dish best served cold. So is ice cream so maybe it's not that bad.
