the rain began to fall
and she asked me,
"Is Love like the drifting cloud?
Full of teardrops, light flashes
and thunder?"...
I had to say,
"My Love, Love is all of that
and so very much more...
do you not hear the song of birds
after a fall of rain;
is the sky around you
not suddenly filled with an embracing calm?"...
