TAPS, you're funny!
Yeah, I probably did not phrase that right. I think I've pretty much always been welcomed in a gathering, but whether or not I REALLY wanna be there is another story.
When people overstay their welcome at your home, you just have to complement yourself, since it probably means you've been a wonderful hostess, and they feel so very welcome there.

JanesOpinion, I don't remember ever feeling unwelcome in a gathering, but some gatherings are not really much to my liking. In that case I make my excuses early and beat a hasty retreat. Also, I have had some gatherings at my home where I thought the people would NEVER leave. HAHAHA. Actually I used to love entertaining large groups but the older I get, the more I like one on one.

Jane's
Sounds like a great group. We have small groups that meet all sorts of times and days. It is good to be with people who love the Lord and enjoy talking about that or other good things. I would love to have some of your weather. We haven't had a full inch yet this year. It is still hot and everything is dead or dying. Thank you so much for the sweet comment you left on my post. Those were wonderful suggestions I am taking them. Be blessed.

Julia, I'm thankful to have cultivated the ability to spend time alone and
to be satisfied and content. Of course, we all need human fellowship of some sort and I get plenty of that!

I would say I am (mostly) welcome in a gathering,
but (usually) prefer to be alone or with one or two.

Rumored, it's something that nonbelievers will never
comprehend until brought "into the fold," eh? There's such a sweetness to this fellowship.
Thanks for commenting!
