I would love to, Bhaskar.ing ...

But unfortunately it's past my bedtime. (The rules are much stricter here.)

Good stuff coming up later this week though ... when I can focus properly.

You have such a filthy mind tonight!

posted by Mademoiselle on September 12, 2006 at 9:02 PM | link to this | reply

I need to make a question out of that too.

I spend my whole _________ filling it in?

Wow. It double fires my imagination.

Beat me to the punch again!

My fingers are slow tonight.

Um, spend a whole what filling it in?

posted by Mademoiselle on September 12, 2006 at 8:58 PM | link to this | reply

a whole "day".
For some reason, I'm blocking out "day" in my head.

posted by bandanafish on September 12, 2006 at 8:57 PM | link to this | reply

I can spend a whole filling that in...

what a great __________ you have there.

hm... it fires my imagination.

posted by bandanafish on September 12, 2006 at 8:57 PM | link to this | reply

It was quasi-semi-sorta bad, actually.

Wow, what a great you have there!
p.s. was it sorta bad, or sorta-sorta bad?

posted by bandanafish on September 12, 2006 at 8:52 PM | link to this | reply

It was pretty good ... in some ways.

But, in other ways, sorta bad.

And in still other ways it was kinda "so so".

posted by Mademoiselle on September 12, 2006 at 8:45 PM | link to this | reply

I don't think so. Vaguely, I think he was Gary C... something.

Well, that time he said they were still "negotiating". I think I moved, not sure (he wasn't very memorable), and didn't talk to him anymore.

Anyway, so how was your day? You haven't even told me whether it was good or bad.

posted by bandanafish on September 12, 2006 at 8:41 PM | link to this | reply

What was his (supposed) reason for turning down the money?

His name wasn't Gary Oldman, was it?

posted by Mademoiselle on September 12, 2006 at 8:33 PM | link to this | reply

A couple years ago, I met this guy. He was super into the
JFK assassination, he even made a whole website for it. But I thought he was nuts, because he said someone offered him 10million dollars to do a film on JFK. He's name is Gary something. I don't remember. And he played the guitar really loudy all day. It was horrible.

posted by bandanafish on September 12, 2006 at 8:31 PM | link to this | reply

No, not really.

The Frankenstein is much bigger than any other version, though. So they probably could have made a nice-looking couple.

The movie JFK isn't about the president, anyway. It's about the investigation into his assassination.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 12, 2006 at 8:25 PM | link to this | reply

by that, I mean, of course, Godzilla & Frankenstein's secret love affair.

posted by bandanafish on September 12, 2006 at 8:23 PM | link to this | reply

Oh. I was being stupid. I mistaken JFK with the other President...

but I can't remember his name. I'll tell you when I remember (which might be never.)

Godzilla vs. Frankenstein? Is that a love story? haha.

posted by bandanafish on September 12, 2006 at 8:20 PM | link to this | reply

"Young Frankenstein" is a comedy, btw.

Not one of the traditional Frankenstein films.

Btw, did you know there was actually a movie called "Godzilla vs. Frankenstein"?

Seriously.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 12, 2006 at 8:18 PM | link to this | reply

What's "weird" about JFK?

It's a brilliant film.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 12, 2006 at 8:14 PM | link to this | reply

Oh, you actually have a list! Great!

I've been wanting to see Amadeus for a long time, and it's quite embarrassing, especially knowing (I don't even have to guess) everyone in the piano division had seen it.

And Young Frankenstein... I think I'll rent that very soon, because my film class is talking about some Frankenstein movies.

You have some weird ones on here... JFK? Really? Even though I haven't seen it, but I just don't imagine I would like it.

Have you seen all the movies on this list?

If so, I have a few more suggestions.

Question: what movies should I rent?
Every other month I do this unlimited movie renting thing, and I go into a movie marathon. So, any suggestions?

posted by bandanafish on September 12, 2006 at 7:57 PM | link to this | reply

I'm going to write about it (in a little while).

I want the "brilliance" of this post to sink in first. I'm not sure people quite understood some aspects of it.

I'll elaborate further (as to the violent act) at a later date, bandana.

I have something more pressing to discuss momentarily.

P.S. Only a tiny bit, huh?

p.s. hmmm, I kind of, a tiny little bit, missed you. Very tiny, oh, so very, very tiny.

It's not really built on a cemetery, Tanga.

It actually overlooks a beach. Albeit a very small, scary one.

Yeah, Mason, I had noticed several bloggers were MIA (Saul, Rcky, etc) ...

Hopefully, their absences are merely temporary.

Personally speaking, the end of summer (and transition back to school) always takes a physical toll on me. Not sure how many other bloggers are still in school, though.

...it's the regular cemetaries that are the worst!
...glad to see you back.  I was afraid that you had up and quit like a few others the past few days... or that maybe Eddie Mars had caught up with you... he's got Joe Kanino and the 'boys' out looking for... the  gnome... or for what may be inside of it... Mr Gutmann says the dingus (if it's the right one) could be worth a quarter of a million... maybe more....

SuccessWarrior, I once wrote the following line in a movie review:

"You know, maybe Hitler wasn't such a bad guy after all."

posted by Mademoiselle on September 12, 2006 at 10:03 AM | link to this | reply

Reminds me of something a girl said at work.

"So, was Hitler bad?"

My response, "Not if you're in the KKK."

She's from Mexico.
