Great diction--wonderful word combinations and imagery

Now, I thought of the word L_I_E_S and just began singing LI_LI_LI_LI_ and together I got?

LiLIES! If you need some, get over to SAY IT IN JAPANESE -haiku and senryu by Ypun. Shalom Pal

I think a lot of work went onto this poem....
together with a lot of soul searching! I feel it does the soul good to get it all wriiten down , particularly as poetry. Clever work (I like the ending.)  Hope you felt better about things after you wrote it!

There seems to a somber mood in the air today (at least in several poems I’ve read today).  Yours is particularly poignant and speaks volumes of regrets, the shame we carry, wishing we could turn back time, or hungering for different outcomes.  At least that is what I drew from this piece.  It is extremely powerful, Lion – I was riveted.
