Whacky, All I know for sure is that when I cleaned out my Dad's garrage workshop, all the tubes of caulk were totally hard and dried out so I tossed them all. It sounds like you did a great job of rejuvenation on the shed.

Whacky, it sounds
like you are quite the handy-woman! I'm not sure about the caulk, but my mom always put a nail in the heads to keep the tubes from drying out. She was a carpenter once. Take care

I love how you describe everything.
I have a little (just a little

) obsession with hearing
everything about people's days.

Hi
Does it not have an expiry date on the tube somewhere? You've also just highlighted why one shouldleave well alone - a small piece of work will lead to more. Anyway, I guess this couldn't have been put of indefinately anyway.

No I do
not know how long an unopened tube of caulk would last. Why, do you have some left over?

Hi .. You have really been busy and accpmplised a lot. I'm not sure but caulk left unopened should keep a long time. I don't have a tube handy but check because it may have a experation date. Its nice to be back and reading you again.

An unopened tube of caulk will last indefinitely!
Probably somewhere around the year 2012, I would throw it out if it hadn't been used yet.
