I agree about the blogging. There are times when I've taken a break, because I haven't felt like blogging. It wasn't writer's block; it would usually be something clearly illness-related, such as a lack of interest in things because I'm depressed, or lethargy due to a cold, or even an inability to walk to the computer (as happened a few years back, with the tendinitis).

I feel like Writer's Block affects fiction writing more than nonfiction
But I could just be horribly naive.

I've never experienced anything akin to writer's block when working on short pieces. Yes, there are times when I don't have the inclination to blog, but it's a "I don't feel like it" as opposed to an "I can't" type of thing. However, I have experienced a writer's block type situation while working on my novel. It occurs because there's something wrong about the plot, scene, character, etc. and for the life of me, I can't progress until I straighten it out. Sometimes it takes a few minutes or hours, sometimes a few days before the "answer" dawns on me. Sometimes even longer.
