Pleased to make your acquaintance as well.  Interesting that you noticed the Twain/Clemens bit -- most people don't.  Clemens has been one of my favorites since I was a boy reading Tom Sawyer.  The editor of the dictionary actually used Mark Twain and noted that it was a pen name.  I purposely used both names to see if anyone was paying attention.  Note that I said "two of my favorite authors."  If you count up quotes, the total is three -- each with a different name attached.  You get bonus points for knowing Twain and Clemens are one and the same.

I hope to have some serious blogging time available in a day or two.  I'll use some of it to check out your blogs.

Notapoet, I'm a huge Mark Twain fan.

What's funny is that the authors of the dictionary used both of his names:  Mark Twain is Samuel Clemens (Twain was his pen name, that came from his days on the Mississippi River, when boatmen would yell "Mark twain" as they dropped anchor).  Silly things that get stuck in my head.

Nice to meet you, btw.
