Nice post! Well, done, luv
I'm doing it again, reading lusty poems on one blog and pouring out feelings on another blog and composing a sob story in between.   Poor horny honey...

I totaly agree with you Tony, WHY do they do that mate. You can die, someone told me dyeing can hurt, loads and that fear is the early warning thingy  that makes us want too run away from danger   oh well, I'm staving just going nextdoor too pinch the marrowbone of their Rotwiler. Mike

It's only a poem but I like it, like it, yes do
I've never tried climbing on the roof. Some people really do it. Stephen Fry, for one. Count me out, though. Not worth the risk. Same with parachute jumping and bungee jumping. I don't wanna die, so I'm not going to get a thrill from cheating death, which is impossible anyway. Shit, that's really depressing - sorry. Good stuff!

Neil thank you for your amusing comments friend. The first picture is worth the climb onto the roof for a better look.   The second I really don't think I would bother, the poor chap looks like a human tortoise that can't get back on his feet. I understand yoga is good for the body but so is yogut and you only need a spoon.  Mike

temptation has the price! and it will cost you! Missed the siren bit, every time I read it, i see something new. I am not a bloke, so I don't know how you guys "think", or deal with temptation of that sort. It is so alien to me, my name is "Snowhite", it just means i have a few white hair though. It all start in the mind...I will remember the sirens, next time I ever get tempted not like this of course. It is such a good image. Sorry to keep coming back, I like the poem so much, it is not about the poet, I apologize for being so gushy I just like your poem, because what I like is the originality, and the vividness of the whole scene. Ok, sorry I stop here.

So Mike, you were tempted--from the vantage point--but could not afford her

--made me think, you rescued one pussy but lost another. I like the colors you use in foreground and background--easy on the eyes. Good stuff; and a great solitary tree you left for me at Haiku Corner senryu county, Paradise USA!

Yes Troosha you are correct friend, not until the mention of Moral Avenue did I want the reader, understanding the true meaning of the verse. Thanks for your comment and interest though. Mike

sorry I had to check that I understood the poem correctly, I did but my dimmness is no reflection on your bightness. that was a cool poem, different. the flamingo image is so good, I like the way flamingoes stand on one leg and fold the other, forming a perfect triangle. Wild life indeed.

The poem is about love, simply a guy whom is infatuated with a lady of the night and as no money. The best he can do. is look upon her from the roof tops. Thanks for your interest in my humble poem one and all. Mike

some startling images here, and you got me startled too.
tell me if I understand this properly or "slap" me if I get it wrong, (but not too hard please...) are you on the roof top so you can get a glimpse of the "lady" of your love? I like the parallel between you climbing and the ladder in her tights, but how can you tell from such distance, did you have a closer look before or is it just a poetry trick? The last lines are quite wistful, the "no money" and the dream to take her away, but you are just an "alley cat" on a roof, do we take this symbolically or literally or both? This is an intriging poem indeed. Do men really stalk their girl like that? I would never do that, well I would be more discreet...women do that too.
