Your faith brings you through a lot of trials and challenges, but sometimes there will be unanswered prayers, and these are just as important as the answered ones. Everything has a reason, even the darker trials that we go through, they build our faith and our character, whether or not we see it at the time. And He is always with us, carrying us through. There is a C&W song out at the moment that says "He gave us mountains to teach us how to climb". Life is a journey of faith. I'm glad you have it. you won't laways get what you ask for in your prayers, but you'll alwasy get what you need.

Ypunday, my life taught me to believe that way
My life is a millions of blessing from god.
Like you wish, believe that you are going to have a home where you wish with your family. Here is a piece of advise from my life: You can draw a picture of the house you want it, including the way you want it, leave under your pillow, and believe it's going to happen on a particular day like: December 15th 2006, ( you choose your day). Every morning when you wake up, take the paper and pray and imagine the vision it's happening,god will lead you to the home, the day you wish. It will happen. My prayers for you to happen and thank god for listening and granding. Now you believe.

I made up my mind--just for a test-- to ask God fopr a nice house, better health for me and my family, and peace in the Middle East. That's my list--I KNOW & Believe that God will deliver, In Jesus' Name. Amen

Although I most certainly believe in the power of prayer, I’ve never considered it a “shopping list”, if you know what I mean. We should accept our life challenges as well as the happier moments with the same level of grace and gratitude. Sometimes the challenges are placed before us to learn a lesson or to evolve. These too are gifts. I appreciate and honour your strength of Faith.

Bhaskar, I am not denying the bad, but simply asking for more good
lot of times people get depress and sad, forget to ask for good. Good is a dream which will keep you with a boosted brain, a normal happy mood.

A nice prayer on thankfulness, but if GOD GAVE US GOOD, HE ALSO GAVE US BAD, because withot bad how will we know good.So please do not summarily reject bad, but try and accept them too as God's gift. Then you will feel complete.

If you don't believe anything else, just believe in every good deed of yours and others, you will know the path to god. That's my view.

Dave,lot of time people don't know that it's so simple to pray about what
they want? If we are firm, positive, and open heart, we can communicate our needs to god with out a fear, miracle will happen.
