Hi Najwa hope you are well friend, my poem is about the cruel killing of whales that still takes place in this day and age, when really there is no need for it. All what the poor whale was hunted for in the past, can now be found or subdisttuted  by other means. Thank you for your interest Najwa. Mike

lionladroar, Though sad, the history of whaling is very interesting.   A lot of men were lost at sea during the early 19th - 20th century trying to provide barrels of oil for the lighting of lamps.  I think that time is over and people should be protecting the whales.   Your poetry is interesting and melancholy from the whale's point of view.

Very well written and So, so Sad! How can people ever be so cruel....
...to other living creatures. Man (and woman I suppose) has a lot to answer for. I feel even fishing with a rod is cruel! I know many people would not agree.

Very well portrayed, Lad!
A vivid picture. What causes people to do this? I suppose in a way it's natural, but all examples of one creature killing another for whatever reason except self-defence are tragic.
