Actually, Doc says so, and it wont do my blood sugar and other bits any good. Anything that tastes good out of my reach... lovely don't you think. Who wants to be a saint? Not me, but for now I'll be good for health sake.

Battle of the bulge or battle of the sonnets?
These are fun ... I hope you don't take Spenser's example too far, since he supposedly died for lack of bread! Are we talking Dedicatory Sonnets here or the Spenserian stanza? Both feature the extra syllables (the alexandrine if anyone's interested) and yes I am reading it (ok, tell me to shut up). I'll look in again.

for your information, I am on a sugar-free, wheat-free diet, and I am as thin as a stick, plus I hate fatty food. If you all ate at my house, I promise you you would all lose weight because I am being sooo good at the moment. the only thing I miss is chocolate ummm. I am good but this is not by choice. So you try too, if I can do it, you can too. Wipe that chocolate off your face Tonysonit! come on, I saw you, don't lie... Just teasing.

I thank you for reading my stuff. This is new to me but I am enjoying having the outlet. I liked the line at the end of your poem about staining one's teeth with your sins. I like cigs and coffee. I can't resist.

do you ever think sitting at a computer for ages writing must be so bad for
.......us? It may be good to exercise the brain, but I eat so much rubbish sitting here which I wouldn't normaly do. ie; jelly babies, liquorice allsorts and the like...how disgusting! Glad we take a lot of long walks. I am going to get a nice drink of water right now....
