Thanks for your amusing asides. It's nice to have a bit of chat as well as
brain food. People like to relax, not go to school. I'm not sure whether to have the chat first or the sonnet first. i might vary it and see how it goes.  Just to clear up, the mystery - I think it was Mneme - (how do you view the comments at the same time as replying?) it's pronounced Tony's on it. It needs an apostrophe to make that obvious and retain the spelling that looks almost like 'sonnet' but they wouldn't axccept an apostrophe in the nickname.  See y'all later. Gotta pen this evening's sonnet. Oh and MC, I wish I could have what you're on...!

I have changed mine once. I started here as PatrolSergeant.
I like the Z in your name better.  Sounds more right.

One of my friends is OBSESSED with changing his name.
At one point, he officially changed his name to Jefferson Boulevard. So, of course, I took my dog out for a walk on Jefferson Boulevard, then we turned, and walked down Diane Lane.

I did notice,
and wondered if I'd only remembered it wrong.  And what were you doing up at that hour?   As to pronunciation - does it rhyme with sonnet (as in Tony's on it) or with zone (Tony  zone I.T) - you see, there are always pedantic people like me in here to give you a hard time, linguistically... Be back later and read the sonnet - work to do.

Tonyzonit, I like the name change, mainly because I was one of those who kind of wondered how the other one should be pronounced.   I've already changed several times.  I think I'll keep the one I've got now.  Its easy for people to remember and easy for them to type.   I also liked the following poem/sonnet.  It is very well done.

A few people here wanted to correct my name. They didn't like "tt"
in pettite, but I like it, so I am, still, Shypettite. Shy for friends , sounds good, too.

Shelly
OK, Shelly is a nice name anyway.
