The current entry may catch my eye....
....but then I scroll down and skim through past entries. Sometimes the best stuff is not the current entry that caught your eye, but the other entries the blogger wrote earlier that you missed. So yes -- in my case, I scroll through past entries.

I sometimes back-track reading blogs
.. particularly when there's specific reference to a past post... people like Dave are good with having links to best past entries on his page... oh and best luck with the job search.

kathu, I wish there was a way to create a table of contents for others
to see what we've posted earlier on our various blogs, and if something catches their eye, they could go back to it...otherwise, as you say, it just becomes a well of lost blogs..
