Offbeats, hmmmmm, let's see, Tuesday evening . . .

uhhhh, I have a salesman supposedly coming around 7 pm.  Why don't you plan on picking me up at oh, say 6:45???  That works for me.  Those Freedom Fries sound great!  That and a hamburger and root beer float.

Justi, that's a great idea!

But on the flip side it will probably be some other slick salesman who wouldn't know about the party his coworker went to when he no-showed at my house.  Oh well.  Great idea!

Yeah, you're right, our TAPS is very clever.  I'm very glad we can enjoy contact with her!

Jane's
I loved the post. I thought it was very creative of you to make up this story about the tag. I will begin looking for some now usually when I see something on a tag i just look away many are so stupid. That TAPS is sharp. I love her she keeps us on our toes. Leave a not Tuesday or Friday and say I decided not to be here. I am attempting to find the party you attended when you didn't show. Just kidding that would be tacky for sure.

Ahhhhh, TAPS, you totally burst my bubble!

But your explanation makes complete sense.  Oh well.  Fun while it lasted. . . . .

(If I could get my emoticons to work, I'd be winking at you.  ;o)

JanesOpinion, I agree that your interpretation of the vanity plate is more original, but I'll just bet the owner of the car is enamored of a certain breed of dog, that being the English Springer Spaniel.   They probably have about six of them in their home.  LOL

babe -- it's a contractor thing in the type of business that currently
is likely facing an economic downturn.  So of course they're going to pursue past clients, eh?
