Sunny, I think sometimes 'talking it through' becomes 'saying it often
enough until it sinks in.' I don't know, because I don't know him, but I do know what I've been like when I've been on the receiving end, not wanting to let someone go. I just needed to be told and told again. Not hurtfully so, but persistently so.

I try to. Ya know. I've been through this before...trying to let him go, and he always finds a way around it.
It's worse now...I have a lot of guilt. Aside from being aggravating, he really hasn't done anything that bad to me
lately.
Though, he's taking every opportunity he can to tell me WHY I shouldn't be involved with Afzal. Somehow he thinks that Afzal should have some kind of consideration and morals or something concerning
him. 
And although 5 1/2 years ago when I started talking to
him he had no concern at all for my daughter's father, whom I was living with at the time. Go figure.

It's not fun. God, it's so not fun. I knew it was going to be difficult, but now after 2 hours on the phone tonight, I see he's going to make things more difficult for me than just that.
Somehow he thinks there has to be logic and morals concerned in the situation...even though they didn't come into play when I met
him.
