We have giant roaches here.
I mean, these things should call in their flight paths. Huge, enormous, loud roaches.  My cats don't even mess with them.  I don't know what kind of bee you had, but he sounds strange. Maybe it was a queen bee?  Take care

Whacky

No I haven't ever been those close to one to know what they look like. Don't ya just hate it when you fall asleep and some dumb bug has to fly by and wake ya up!

Thank God for fly swatters...

the stand-up comedian, paula poundstone, did a routine about the size
of florida bugs, saying someone told her to use a brick to try to kill them.  paula said, "i'm not going to do that.  that's just giving the bug a weapon."

Whacky
It might have been one, but they are very aggressive. It might have been a Japanese hornet. We have them here and they are huge. One flew in my kitchen and it was very slow and ungainly. It was easy to kill. We have an apple tree out back and they are all over the apples.

I think you should twist the words around
You are not a killer bee, but a bee killer - LOL  One has to have a truly good eye to see the difference between a killer bee and a normal bee. The look almost exactly the same.

Have you read the news about the small aircraft piloted by Lidle? You have insight, ESP, or an ironic twist in choice of words? Lol.

Whacky, I do not know what a killer bee looks like and I hope that I never have reason to find out.

Oh, glad that you killed it. Imagine if you didn't kill it, and this bee
started doing his little dance and called over an army of bees for revenge! Whew~
