Thanks. It's nice to see. I'm grateful for any readership, but this kind is enlivening.

A mistake is all in how you perceive it. You said it eloquently.

Because we are always thinking in terms of sameness. The standard is out there, and no one can attain it. So, we look for faults in those who give the appearance of perfection, lest we discover our own.

One of the most extraordinary things to witness is a master at work on his art, whatever it be.

I like to think of mistakes as valuable teaching tools. They help us to understand ourselves and they tell us what direction NOT to go into next time (hopefully) so we might choose a more appropriate path.
Nicely done words of wisdom today!

Avant, wihle I was editing and cleaning up my blog, I re-read a piece
on flamenco dancers at the coffee shop I saw dancing last spring. I was struck by the main dancer's seeming incongruity between her immobile, almost disdainful features and the sensuality of the movements of her body. Her movements were very controlled, yet spoke volumes about the inherent passion in her dancing, which followed the rising crescendo of the music perfectly. She seemed to have mastered the balance between the disipline of study and the passion of improvisation. It was a stunning sight, with the color and movement of her costume as well.
The desire to create, I think, comes from God, literally "inspired" means filled with God's breath, the breath of desire to create. How can anyone resist that?
