TAPS you are a sweet heart
I have been told I sound similar to a large herd of cattle , that have finally been cured from a long summer of sunshine fresh hey and constipation, by a magical super veterinarian . All at the . . . Same moment ! .
. . TAPS, If you are hinting at some more pictures you only have to ask mam ! Wink, wink ! lol

lionladroar, I wish I could hear that singing. I have a feeling that your singing would be just as unique and appealing as everything else you do.

I didn't post my inspiration, with The Strange Affair
Because I thought it might bore the reader , also after seeing little Anna's temper flare on saturday. God help me I thought if she reads it one day, she might be seven or even ten by then ! Thanks for calling in again Dave, I suppose you must know Anna's not at home, LOL Mike

Cheers Dave !
I was watching over Anna Saturday afternoon , shes four years old and was playing in our back garden with next-doors Jack Russell , Tag , the little dog keeps digging under the fence . I noticed from our lounge that Anna was playing with Tag and tried too stop their fun there and then, because Tag can be a spiteful nipper at times but Anna was having none of it ! So be it, two minutes later, Anna's screaming, I'm white-shocked with fear and Anna's got hold of my old garden fork which is always stuck in the compost heap when its not being used. Tag just got back under the fence in time, as Anna slammed with all her might the fork into the soil behind Tag's behind. The frustration in her little face, in not getting her revenge scared what was left of my Saturday afternoon into next week. Anna had her arm dressed and bandaged by Clair, Tag's mum from next-door, just a nick and I went and locked the old garden fork in the shed! That's where the inspiration for the poem came from. I bet you really wanted too know that ? Take care, good luck
Mike

There are so many aspects of human behaviour where you can see that
Jeckyll and Hyde story at work. Finely worked, Laddo.

Hi Maeve
Hi friend sorry too hear your busy and must hang blogit up for awhile, your poetry reminds me of mists that slowly roll in on the tide, as into the open shore and mind of the unjudgemental, taking a grip, in our understanding, easy thoughts that are dream-like, I will miss you and your writings Maeve. I also wish you good luck in all you do. I sense the rebel in you, someone strong whom speaks her mind, no matter what. Hence your chosen name in warning nomcomformist. The artist you named as been mentioned too me on a number of occasion, I keep meaning too look him up, as I do many things, I am a moment man, in truth. Have only just started too write what I consider serious stuff. Do my best, in trying too be different, I hate confrontation at all costs. I see faces in trees and write my poetry from the inspiration I receive. Hundertvasser, I will give him alook ! It AS BEEN NICE DIVING INTO YOUR MINDS EYE AND SWIMMING IN YOUR WARM SEA OF THOUGHTS MAM.
Good luck, keep writing. Mike

Heavy stuff here, but clever....
...takes a few readings to work out for some of us old slowcoaches!
Thank you for your recent kind comments on my poetry. If you read the comments to the side of my post you will see I am giving it a break for a little while. I have so much else to get on with and believe it or not there never seems to be enough time however I prioritise! However I think I will be tempted to return when I have time as I have found so many like minded people to converse with and enjoyed reading a lot of good work. Your artwork is very organic, do you like the artist Hundertvasser? (Not sure if I've spelled it right!) I have several booksand prints of his work. He was quite famous, but not many people I speak to seem to have heard of him. He was also an architect and designed "organic" buildings with no straight lines.
I think my account closes on about 3rd Nov. so I will be having a look in up until then.
Good luck,
Maeve.

lionladroar, For some reason, this makes me think of something once said by the wife of Tom Jones regarding women swooning over his sweat rags thrown to them. She said, "His feet smell bad just like any other man's." LOL

lionmylad... a high spirited poem...
don't know the full story behind it, that is the trouble with being French, sometimes I am culturally challenged so you will have to forgive me. Keep on writing!

Wow!
What an amazing concoction. I must admit I've not read the original of that story, but unless I'm mistaken, you've done your own highly imaginative take on it and transferred it to the typical love triangle, or in this case, quadrangle! Well done, Mike. Funny and a little bit sad as well.

A chilling tale of unforgiving, glibness, unkindness and (I think) ultimately acceptance. Ruminates of a scene perhaps we have all lived though. Good post!
