Thank you very much jacenta, especially for your pop-ins earlier in the month. I'll tell Ell, if I can stop her from digging up plants and storing them in the spare bedroom.

Thank you ginnie - it has stopped raining for the first time in days, today, so it is all hands to the hatches.

Sounds like you and Ell are pretty busy. Tell Ell, "hello" for me. Welcome back. Glad you are feeling better.

Hubby and I have a lot of winterizing to do, too. I do enjoy the winter, but I am always ready for the spring that follows.

I try not to admit this to anyone, mneme, but I love the changes of the seasons, especially in Canada, as it is so extreme. Thanks for reading, and I'm glad to be back as well.

Nice to see you back, johnmcnab
I'd rather think about carpe diem than carpal tunnel - hope you escape the latter! I enjoyed reading this, and love the progression of the seasons - I really miss a nice cold snap. I know.. I need my head examined. Last night I dreamed it was snowing outside, don't know why because it never does. Wishful thinking maybe. Looking forward to your next one - good luck with the articles.
