It's interesting that whatever the substance was, once it was removed
it certainly didn't mess Rodgers up at all..if he keeps this up (winning) and the Tigers win it all, he's MVP for sure

That's alright, Xeno-x. Gaylord Perry got caught a few times as well, but
it never stopped him. It's part of the game. I don't agree with doing it, but everyone is looking for an edge.

And when has dirt been outlawed in a ball game? Hell, they play on dirt.
Dirt gets on everything. God forbid a little dirt got on one of the balls being pitched. At least he didn't spit on it and make it a muddy spitter. Now, that's nasty and sneaky.

saul, I'm sure you'll read somewhere about the "foreign substance"
Rodgers had on his hand..it was just dirt..Larussa didnt seem upset about it..Rodgers wiped it off and proceeded to throw another good game...much ado about nothing with the dirt..
